Founded in 1969, the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association (OMBA) is the leading statewide organization dedicated to residential and commercial real estate finance. Our members include lenders, servicers, investors, and a wide range of industry partners united by a shared commitment to responsible lending, strong advocacy, and the future of homeownership in Ohio.
We advocate at the Statehouse, with regulators, and through the courts to represent our members — and to help ensure all Ohioans have access to fair, affordable housing.

The Biggest Year in OMBA’s 57-Year History.
In June, OMBA held its largest Annual Conference ever — 225+ attendees, 130+ organizations, 10+ keynote and featured speakers, and 20 breakout sessions across three days in Columbus. It was a record in attendance, energy, and impact, and it is just the start.

In-Person Events Across Ohio Beyond the annual conference, OMBA brings Ohio’s mortgage community together throughout the year. This fall, the 2026 Ohio MBA Golf Outing takes the course at The Golf Club of Dublin on September 21. And in December, OMBA hosts its first-ever holiday conference — Home for the Holidays (December 6–8 in Columbus) — combining two days of big-name speakers and business content with the most festive party the Ohio mortgage industry has ever thrown. Members receive discounted pricing on all events. |
