Please join in a day at the Statehouse on November 15th, from 10AM – 6PM for OMBA Legislative Day – Inform the Capital. We will have a briefing on the issues in the morning, and a lunch, then we will break into groups and meet with State Legislators. We will follow this with a reception.

This will be an advocacy event focused solely on real estate finance issues. Having one collective voice to influence major positive change for the real estate finance industry and the communities we serve. Join us to advocate and educate your elected officials by showing them how impactful proposed legislation can be.
Who Should Attend? Anyone employed by an MBA-member company who wants to join with others to be a strong and unified voice for our industry. No prior advocacy experience is needed. Single-family, commercial and multifamily; loan production/origination, servicers, investors, and service providers to the industry.
There is no cost to OMBA members or their employees (we would appreciate any sponsorship of the lunch and reception – please contact me directly if you are willing.). Please respond quickly as Adam needs the information to start setting meetings with the appropriate legislators for those companies participating.
Even if you cannot attend for the full day, please register and let me know what your schedule is, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Also, please mark your calendars for the MBA’s National Advocacy Conference – March 18-19, 2024 in Washington, DC. This fantastic opportunity to become informed and then meet with your elected Congressman and Senators so they can hear directly from you on how what is happening in DC impacts your company and the industry as a whole. That state up north, usually has the largest participation – we need to show them Ohio can do better. You can register at www.mba.org/NAC24
